Cast Update 11-5-2023

I have all sorts of problems with my blogs right now. This post is incomplete so you won’t see it on my facebook page. I will be sharing all of the political posts that I do in my political facebook group. But I’m way behind on doing posts as I just wrote the last three political posts that I should have had up already today as if it were for later. This is going to keep happening, over and over again. So let’s get to what I can of this post…

Tea Leoni: She will be in a project called Endangered, which will be a movie. There are no other things that I see her in right now besides that. I don’t know when they finished filming the show, but you’d think that those who are still doing projects will have stuff right now to do (if that makes sense).

Endangered: This is a movie about the lives of threatened species. We’ll see what role she has in it. The website I’m checking makes it seem like she’ll be lending her voice to it so maybe it will be some sort of documentary. The release date is unknown now.

Bebe Neuwirth: She’s had a recurring bit on Blue Bloods and may show up on it from time to time. There are other minor things that she has done. It appears that she will be in a new show called Julia. Two more things that she is in are Frasier: Revival and Captian Fall. It is nice to see her doing things.

Julia: This is a show about Julia Child, the chef. It is available now on HBO Max. It first became available on 3-31-2022. There is a trailer for this that I will talk about. I might not care about missing the show even if I’m coming to like some cooking shows.

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZBacZqwbCA

Thoughts on trailer: This looks way more interesting than I ever would have thought that it might be. Who would have thought that a woman would need to overcome cooking stereotypes? It seems like there is a lot more going on here than might need to be, but there isn’t much else to say about this. I doubt that I’ll be able to see it without borrowing this from my sister’s family for a moment, but it could be fine regardless of it I wind up seeing it in the future or not.

Frasier: Revival: This is best described as a revival of the show Frasier which I never saw for no good reason (lack of interest, I guess?). I don’t know what else there is to say about it yet and am unsure how or if I’ll see the original. This isn’t on her page at the moment, although I know that the show is moving forward as I’ve seen it advertised. While this is out now, since she is not in it, I will be removing this from the updates and only talking about it in my TV blog.

Captian Fall: This is currently airing on Netflix. While there is a trailer for it, I don’t have time to talk about it in this month’s cast update. I hope to next month. It is about a person who becames unwittingly part of a cartel and will be the fall guy in case something goes wrong. There’s a trailer for this that I will talk about now:

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQiqPU3Mu6Q

Thoughts on trailer: This looks really dumb. I think that I will be glad to not be seeing this show at all. Am I supposed to be rooting for the hero? I can’t think of any redeeming characteristics that he might have. What else would I watch this show for?

Geoffrey Arend: He will be in a project called Physical, a TV show. That’s all that I see him doing for now. I guess that I’ll see what else he might be into at times. Maybe he’ll do more in the future or maybe he won’t. Only time will tell.

Physical: This is a TV show, but too much about this is unknown at this point in time. It is out now on Apple TV+. It also has a trailer that I will be talking some about. It is a very new thing and imdb isn’t revealing much about it now as a result. But we’ll find out more about this over time.

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQTFdslwJYo

Thoughts on trailer: I’m not entirely sure what to make of this. It doesn’t seem that bad, but it doesn’t seem anywhere close to good either. It is going for something maybe a bit different, but I can’t really get behind it that much. I was never one for the 80s as I wasn't even born yet and really only get stuff out of it from when I see The Goldbergs. It doesn’t seem all that interesting to me really.

Kathrine Herzer: She hasn’t been doing much since the show ended or now, it seems. Maybe she is going back to a more normal life. Not all the child actors or actresses continue into the field when they get older as they want to do other things in life. Remember the people from Shining Time Station?

Evan Roe: Again, this person has not been doing much after the show ended. I guess it hasn’t been over long enough or a lot of these people just haven’t found a new job yet, at least in the Hollywood industry. You’d think that the filming would have ended long enough ago, but maybe not. While he is mentioned as in the cast for A Man in Full, which also stars Jon Michael Hill from my Elementary blog and William Jackson Harper from my CSI: Cyber blog, all three of those people are mentioned as only appearing in one episode thus far.

A Man in Full: There is no release date or trailer for this yet. It is about a mogul who has to defend his failing empire from those seeking to gain from his failure. This is set to be a miniseries. I’ll find out where later. It could be good, but the plot seems overused.

Tim Daly: The time has come to say what this man is finally doing after Madam Secretary as he finally has something new in the works now. He is in Finestkind. He is also set to be in The Unholy Trinity.

Finestkind: I’m guessing that this is a movie or supposed to be. It has a release date of December 15, 2023. It is about two brothers finding themselves trapped in issues with organized crime people. There is a trailer for this now:

Trailer link:

Thoughts on trailer:

The Unholy Trinity: This is set for release sometime in 2024. This is about a man who sent his son out for revenge against the person who framed him for a crime that he did not commit. It could be interesting, but I guess we’ll see if it is or not.

Zeljko Ivanek: Maybe we’ll see more of his acting in the future or maybe we won’t. He’s in The Walking Dead: Dead City. That’s all for him for now. I can only hope that he does more over time, but don’t see much for him at the moment.

The Walking Dead: Dead City: This is a continuation of The Walking Dead focusing on the character of Negan. I’m going to include some overlap with my blogs on Madam Secretary and The Good Wife as they both have actors in this show. It is currently available.

Erich Bergen: He’s also not doing much yet as of the show ending. After appearing in some episodes of the final season of Bull, I’ll have to wait to see what else he is up to in the future after this. I can only hope that he does more in the future.

Patina Miller: I think that she’s a mother so that may affect how much work she’ll be able to do. We’ll see what goes on in her life and I hope she can do something I can watch. She’s also set to be in the upcoming project of Into the Woods. That’s about it.

Into the Woods: This has no plot yet. What I’m unsure of is if this is a remake of the movie Into the Woods or, perhaps, a live musical version of this. It would seem kind of early in my mind to remake the movie. Anyways, it has no release date or trailer yet.

Wallis Currie-Wood: She has done very little outside of the show. Maybe she will do something more in Hollywood or maybe not. It will be hard to understand some of why I’m not seeing much in terms of what the cast is doing in the future unless or until more time passes.

Keith Carradine: He has two projects in the works. One is called Sallywood. The other one is called The Daylong Brothers. We’ll see what happens between those and anything else that he does. I look forward to hopefully seeing these films at some point in time. Maybe more will happen in the future. He’s also in the new season of Fear the Walking Dead. He is in is the TV show Accused. Two more things that he is in are They Listen and Rabbit Ears: Annie Oakley.

Sallywood: This movie romantic in some way, but I don’t know if it’s a comedy or not. It is about a man who moves to Hollywood and becomes a woman’s personal assistant. There will be more to it than that. It has an unknown release date at this time.

The Daylong Brothers: This has an unknown release date at this time. It is about three brothers who try to get revenge on their father for selling their souls. This could be interesting, even if I don’t really like to watch horror films. But this could just be normal supernatural.

Fear the Walking Dead: This is an AMC show that is a spin-off of the original Walking Dead. At first, it was a prequel set at the start of the zombie outbreak. Now, it is set sometime later during the same time frame as the original. I don’t know when or if I’ll be able to see this, but will include this in the updates for as long as Keith is in it.

Accused: I can’t quite tell what this is about, although I hope to have more explained in the future. It is a FOX show that is on hiatus. I don’t know how much there is to mention in something like this since a lot has changed about it in the present by now.

Review: Accused: Status- Currently on hiatus. Why I’ve seen it- I tend to watch a new FOX show at least once. Description- If I understand the premise of this correctly, we see the story of someone on trial, the events leading up to it, and what the end result is. Notable People- It might at some point star Keith Carradine from Madam Secretary. He might only appear in one episode. Pros- It is different from the usual courtroom drama. Cons- This show is all kinds of terrible in many ways. It doesn’t spend enough time in the courtroom, which is not a problem on its own, but seeks to take away why we are there in the end. It also seems to support the idea of vigilante justice instead of, you know, calling the police to make sure that a crime does not happen. Note to Parents- Don’t let your kids watch this show. Recommendation- Don’t waste your time with this. My Viewing Habits- I watched the first episode of this show and will never see it ever again. Prediction- I have no idea if this will last right now or not, but I would say that it might for now. We’ll see if it keeps the ratings that it has or if it gets lower ones in the future. Reception: positive. Grade: F.

They Listen: This currently has an unknown release date. It is unknown what plot is has right now to the general public as that is being kept under wrap. We’ll see how soon they will reveal information about it. We may learn nothing.

Rabbit Ears: Annie Oakley: This is based on the true story of this woman. It seems to be animated, I guess. It is a short and for the family. It has an unknown release date at this point in time. I wish that I knew who Annie Oakley is, but I guess that I’ll find out when I see this. This isn’t on imdb anymore, but is still in the updates for now.

Sebastian Arcelus: He is set to be in the movie Into the Woods. That’s all that I can see for him at this point in time. But I’m going to talk about something. I want to say whatever dumb things I feel that I have to in order to make these paragraphs a certain length after all.

Into the Woods: This has no plot yet. What I’m unsure of is if this is a remake of the movie Into the Woods or, perhaps, a live musical version of this. It would seem kind of early in my mind to remake the movie. Anyways, it has no release date or trailer yet.

Sara Ramirez: We’ll see what else she might do in the future. It could be a lot or not much at all. One source is now saying that her show, And Just Like That, is returning for a season 2 after all. Other than that role, I don’t see anything mentioned of hers for now.

Kevin Rahm: There isn’t much to talk about for him right now. Maybe I’ll see more of him in the future or maybe not. It is hard to tell for sure what all might be covered in these blogs of mine or what all what stay there whether it is outdated or not.

Barbara Hall: I will see what future, if any, she might have in the TV or movie industry. You’d think that she’d be doing something at some point or another, but maybe she won’t be at least for a while. I guess that I’ll keep her in the updates since only death would get rid of someone.

Schedule

Available now- Physical (on Apple TV), Fear the Walking Dead (on AMC), Julia (on HBO Max), The Walking Dead: Dead City, Captian Fall (on Netflix), Frasier: Revival (on Paramount+)

Currently on hiatus: Accused

Politics: Why Trump Loves to Lie

Donald Trump needs psychiatric help. I’m not saying this to be mean. I’m saying this because he clearly doesn’t live in our world of reality and someone needs to make that clear to him. This guy is a very clear danger to himself and others. He needs help and he especially needs to have someone in his orbit tell him this. In fact, he needs as many people in his inner circle to tell him this as often as possible until he gets the help he needs.

Why does Trump lie? There are a lot of simple reasons why. For instance, when he talked about the lawsuit that he lost recently, he immediately stated an obvious lie about what happened that could be easily debunked by anyone who cares. He said that he won the case that he lost. Why does he say that? For one, he wants a soundbite. He wants people listening to what he says because some people are going to play the lie regardless of if they point out that it is a lie. He is going to play the lie over and over again and his supporters won’t care because they only listen to what he has to say. Even if the media keeps calling his lies what they are, they are still going to repeat the lies over and over again.

This makes me think of how sad it is that no one close to Trump is trying to get through to him over why he should just admit defeat and stop lying all the time. They can be as guilty as he can be in many cases over all the dangers that he keeps causing because they let him keep saying lies over and over again.

Other reasons Trump keeps lying is because his supporters let him get away with it. They got their precious repeal of Roe versus Wade (something I actually like) even though Trump doesn’t actually care or support true pro-life causes. He’s seen as a fighter even though he keeps lying because he’s actually doing something where are the true president in office right now doesn’t like to make waves or draw attention to himself and is seen as weak as a result. Trump likes to take credit for good things that others did, like signing the VA bill that Obama signed or deny the bad things that he did do, like separating migrant families.

Let’s face it: Trump probably doesn’t even believe half of the shit that he says. More shit comes out of his mouth than you’ll find in the average sewer. But he loves to lie, the media repeats his lies, and his supporters don’t give two fucks about his lies.

Politics: Latinx

There is a fairly new term out there called Latinx. It is a gender neutral version of Latino or Latina. I’m not opposed to this word, per say. But it seems to be a creation of the gringos that I’m not sure that this group of people would like or feel that they need to be labeled with.

The only real reason that I support somewhat the use of this word is that it is gender neutral. But there are problems with the word. Plus, there already is a gender neutral word for those that could be called Latinx: Hispanic. So I’m not sure if we need this word after all. If you have any strong feelings about this word one way or another, be sure to comment here and let me know. Otherwise, I’m not sure that I care enough to use the word.

Politics: Trump Won’t Stop Digging Holes

The insurrectionist just can’t stop making problems for himself. He really can’t. You’d think that he should know better or at least those in his circle that could help him not be a danger to himself trying to get back in office should tell him to stop talking before he keeps making things worse for himself. But if he knew how to shut up, he would have done it by now.

You see, Trump loves to cause problems for himself as it only fits the lie that he is a victim of a witch hunt. Dude, if you keep lighting matches and buildings keep burning, I’m not going to buy that you are falsely accused of being an arsonist. He might be able to get away with that in Cairo, Illinois like the real arsonist there appears to have, but he has done so much shit in so many parts of the whole country that one of his trials was simply about how much he had lost and not even if he had any chance of winning the case.

He has been like this for quite some time and he is unlikely to change. For reasons that I plan to get into in a future post that you might be able to see by the time that you are reading this, the people around him just don’t care about his mental health and they will keep letting him cause all sorts of problems for himself unaware that they could be liable as well.

Politics: Misrepresenting One’s Race

With me exhausted from a long weekend where I may have gotten the usual break from work, but didn’t get a good rest, I thought that I would do this quick post where I talk about this weird thread that I have seen. While it isn’’t really political, I do find it weird that it is possible to lie about what your own race is and people would believe you for whatever reason. It is too strange a thing for me to focus too much on as I don’t really understand why someone would do this. What is wrong with your own race? Well, a lot can be wrong with it if you are white. But you don’t have to be one of THOSE white people. I can’t think of much else to say. I would never do this since I can’t really think of any benefit that it would bring. You are going to get found out at some point in time, after all.

Cast Update 10-1-2023

I can’t tell if this blog or my one on Elementary is easier to do cast updates on if and when I spend the time to do that. But this post is done (unlike last month’s) so you know that I put time and effort into this post that I probably could have and maybe should have spent on other things, but that’s not too important right now.

Here’s a post putting in multiple blogs. As I’m way behind on some blogs that I should be caught up on with some posts being scheduled for the past as they weren’t ready by the date that they should have been up on, I’ve decided that I know longer care about when telling you the posts of any of my blogs will be published either as changes happen or, if there is enough time, before they happen. I hope to get caught up with my Survivor blog and it will include a schedule at some point, but, until then, you’ll have to see when and if blogs will appear.

Julia: This is a show about Julia Child, the chef. It is available now on HBO Max. It first became available on 3-31-2022. There is a trailer for this that I will talk about. I might not care about missing the show even if I’m coming to like some cooking shows.

It is set to air in 2023. I don’t know what else there is to say about it yet and am unsure how or if I’ll see the original. This isn’t on her page at the moment, although I know that the show is moving forward as I’ve seen it advertised.

I was never one for the 80s as I wasn't even born yet and really only get stuff out of it from when I see The Goldbergs. It doesn’t seem all that interesting to me really.

Office Race: This is out now. The plot of it sounds dumb. An employee is going to great lengths to one up his excercised obsessed boss. This doesn’t even sound that original, although I have no idea what it could be ripping off. This already aired on Comedy Central so I will be removing this from the updates.

Kathrine Herzer: She hasn’t been doing much since the show ended or now, it seems. Maybe she is going back to a more normal life. Not all the child actors or actresses continue into the field when they get older as they want to do other things in life. Remember the people from Shining Time Station?

Zeljko Ivanek: He is finally set to be in something called Now and Then, which is a TV show. Maybe we’ll see more of his acting in the future or maybe we won’t. Another thing that he will be in is Let the Right One in. He’s also in The Walking Dead: Dead City.

Now and Then: This is a TV series about a group of Hispanic friends meeting again years after one of them is found dead. It is available now. It is on Apple TV+. It could be good, but it doesn’t sound original. There is a trailer for this now:

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfyk7tbtTN4

Thoughts on trailer: Well, this looks like it could be interesting and also complicated in different ways. It seems to focus too much on clichés, although I couldn’t guess who might be guilty in the end of anything (it might be all of them). I don’t think that I’ll miss much by not being able to see it, even if some of this could be good.

Let the Right One in: This doesn’t have a trailer yet. This is out now. This is a vampire drama that I believe is based on an existing movie that was also already remade into a movie before, albeit much earlier and too soon after the old one was just out from what I understand of it. Here’s another one. There is a trailer for this now:

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_abIA--OY3Y

Thoughts on trailer: Well, I’m fine without this. While there have been a few horror movies that I have liked to an extent, this doesn’t look like one of them, although it is a TV show and not a movie. But that’s not the point exactly. It seems obvious and dumb so I’ll be better off without it.

The Walking Dead: Dead City: This is a continuation of The Walking Dead focusing on the character of Negan. I’m going to include some overlap with my blogs on Madam Secretary and The Good Wife as they both have actors in this show. It is currently available.

Politics: The 10 Worst Parts of the Trump Administration

I am hoping that I am covering all the worst things that happened while Trump was president. I could not even cover all of what I wanted to since while mentioning ten is easy, I’m sure to be missing a whole lot of what some might feel should be on the list. Keep that in mind in case you think that something that should be on here isn’t.

#10 The photo op- This one was just all sorts of wrong in many ways. I think that he lost one of his cabinet members because of this, although I forget if it was right away or not. It goes down in infamy with one trying to wrap their mind about how he misused people like this.

#9 The longest government shutdown in US history-  You can tell how bad he is that this is only number nine out of all of the choices. He shut down the government and many people never got paid for the work that they were forced to do if I know what happened correctly.

#8 Unite the “Right” Response- Believe it or not, I was mildly tolerating Trump and willing to accept him as someone who might disprove his critics until this. But to say that an obviously wrong group of people has perfectly fine people like the actual good guys proves all of the power that he gave to white supremacists. I started wearing a safety pin because of this and while I stopped for a while after he left office, I brought it back because of it.

#7 Trying to extort Ukraine- The basis for his first impeachment should be all the proof that you need that he’s a terrible person as he is willing to hold up military aid to get what he wants in order to stay in office. But some people just can’t see the truth.

#6 Tainting the judiciary- Be it Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, or any of the number of people he both never should have gotten at the beginning or near the end of his term in office, we have a whole fucking lot of people with no business having the jobs that they do judging people that they do in so many controversies after another, I can only be glad that not all of them are bad as a good chunk of them are against Trump, but man, the bulk of them suck for one reason or another, be it their inexperience or radial ways.

#5 Poor pandemic response- He was willing to blame anyone and everyone except himself and was terrible at leading through this horrible pandemic made worse by him and governors who followed his lead. You’d think that him almost dying of covid would have changed his ways, but it made him even more cocky.

#4 Louis DeJoy- You’d think that someone with zero postal experience should have no business having the top job in the postal service, but Trump thought that this Republican donor deserved to help mess up the postal system in many ways including vote by mail efforts. All I know is that Trump votes by mail all the time and this is something that needs to be remembered as we still have to deal with his stink until he is able to be ousted in some way.

#3 All the fucking pardons et al- What’s even more terrible than how many corrupt people there were with the Trump administration or in some way associated with him got pardoned by him which continues a long line of Republican presidents pardoning friends or people who were involved with scandals during his administration.

#2 The storming of the capitol- This one day will be one of the worst in US and world history as the stink of it is not likely to go away any time soon. If the insurrectionist could just leave and have a peaceful transition of power, this never would have happened. But he would never admit defeat in his life despite all of his failures in life.

#1 Brett Kavanaugh- Defending this man is maddening. I’ll say this and if it falls on deaf ears, I’ll just yell it: he was unpopular before the sexual misconduct allegations were known. He is the worst part of the Trump administration for many reasons. For one, it shows just how much people will defend, jumping through hoops as to why it shouldn’t even matter these allegations and claiming that they were wronged when they got what they wanted! I cannot respect anyone who can support Kavanaugh and we never would have had him without Trump.

And there you have it. This couldn’t in any way ever cover every terrible thing that happened during the presidency of Trump. There’s a lot that I didn’t include that maybe should be on this list in the end. Consider these the worst of the worst.
