Sometimes shows become
misnomers. They have a title but then the title doesn’t always work with later
parts of the show. Sometimes you have to worry about it, but other times you
don’t. I wonder if this show could be a misnomer in the future. It could be. I
also wonder that about Jane the Virgin. They make it seem like she is getting
married soon, meaning that the virgin thing will go away. Will it happen? Will
she not be a virgin anymore? Or will something happen to her fiancée before the
wedding? He could die. I have the feeling that he might.
I should have watched this
live instead of putting it on my laptop. The show I was watching live didn’t
come in that well. Normally this wouldn’t be that big of a problem, but there
were glitchiness problems with my TV tuner. At least the audio is working well.
This is becoming more of a problem then it should be. At least I’m able to
watch it. Meanwhile, I should make sure that the downstairs converter box for
DTV is still working right. I might have to get a back-up one because if the
one downstairs stops working, I don’t know how I’ll still be able to record
stuff on VHS. I could have to give that up, but only if it keeps failing at
times. Of course, if I’m lucky, I can find another VCR to start using again. I
just don’t think that it would work to have only two TVs working again since
three is what works best for us.
Today’s episode is brought to
you by no delay. We begin with more of the fallout from the previous episode.
Elizabeth is worried about her husband who is still undercover. Alison calls
about a problem with a permission slip. Henry’s team needs to take advantage of
an opportunity that they have.
In segment two, it appears
that Henry’s team (Murphy Station?) is shot at and they then have to escape and
wind up in a grocery store. It doesn’t seem like that much happens besides that
and I hate the poor quality of the recording I’m watching.
In segment three, there are
more of the permission slip problems that Elizabeth can’t resolve and neither
can her hired hand, it seems. Henry’s team had an injured person and they are
trying to figure out how to help him. They also have a native captive so they
figure that he could possibly help their injured friend.
In segment four, we don’t see
any of Henry’s story this time. I wonder what will be next for him. Elizabeth
and her team try to help solve the situation as they do every other episode.
It’s always a different situation, but it always is something of some sort that
needs solved.
In segment five, they look
through things at the situation room and are able to find their crew again.
Henry is asked to perform something akin to last rites and doesn’t want to do
it as he feels that it would be against Catholic teaching. It looks like
everything is going well on that front. I don’t think that the injured person
died. As for the permission slip, Elizabeth gets confused and rants to the
person in charge although it appears that everything is okay regarding it.
Alison is probably not going to be stuck not going. As for other issues, it
appears that Demitri might still be alive. I had the feeling that might be the
case, although I didn’t mention it earlier. Sorry about that.
On the next Madam Secretary, it
appears that there might be a cliffhanger this season as Elizabeth could
potentially lose her job. And here I was thinking that a different thing could
make this show a misnomer. Would that actually happen? Is that allowed to
happen? I guess this show is fiction so they can ignore whatever real rules
actually exist. To me this all seems odd, but at the very least, pretty
interesting. I’ll be back soon with the season finale. For now, this is Adam
Decker, signing off.
