Episode from 5-8-2016

Normally I keep you updated on what shows on DVD I watch. I have a list of stuff to roll from and I have a line of replacements for when I’m done with one of them. Now I haven’t been able to change this list as much lately, but I will be able to write a whole lot about that next time. Be prepared for this in the season premiere’s first blog post. I’m glad that this show is coming back for next season. Don’t be surprised if this blog gets strange and I do paragraphs in a different font that I’m also putting in a different blog of mine.

If you ever see this font when I do a post, then I have linked it up with my Survivor blog in a way for a reason. I talk about what I watch on DVD in this blog and once Survivor: Palau is moved to this blog (if it is at all, that is), I will mention certain things in this font in both this blog and my blog about Survivor.

This basically is just to keep you updated on the TV shows on DVD that I watch. I don’t know why I’m telling you about this, but I enjoy it and sometime have nothing better to do in blogs like this. I should just form a new blog about my OCD habits, but due to said habits, I wouldn’t be able to do this unless the newest blog of mine has an unread post when 23 other posts are published after it. And there are other blogs that I’d create before that anyways. What I should really do is start a podcast about my TV junkie ways. I just want at least one other person who could help me with it. I could start without a cohost, but I’d love to podcast with someone who loves TV as much as I do.

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin with Elizabeth walking with someone talking about Demitri. The McCords minus Elizabeth go out to miniature golf with Stevie’s boyfriend. He asks Henry permission to marry Stevie which Henry then tells to Elizabeth. Elizabeth hears rumors that she might be replaced. How would that work? The show is about her. If she isn’t madam secretary, than who would the show be about?

In segment two, Stevie announces that she is engaged to her stunned parents. She wants to get married really soon while her parents try to think of some way to bring up their objections. Elizabeth tells Henry about the possible replacement of herself. Can a president just up and dismiss a member of their cabinet? I don’t know if that’s actually allowed or not.

In segment three, there is something confusing about a preschool that people want Elizabeth to deal with in some way. She also talks to someone about possibly freeing Demitri, even though she’s not certain that he’s still alive. Is she doing this behind the president’s back? As a sign of good will, she wants Demitri’s sister released from prison.

In segment four, we learn the real reason that Conrad is looking for a new Secretary of State: he wants to make Elizabeth vice-president. Could that happen? Would the show be a misnomer in the future? Henry talks to Stevie about marriage decisions. She thinks that it could be a mistake going into marriage this soon yet she also still wants to do it. Elizabeth still talks about trying to get Demitri back.

In segment five, we get to the speech that Matt is doing. I don’t know why I was confused about it and thought that it related to a preschool of some sort. But he seems to do a pretty acceptable job at the speech. We then go to Finland for the prisoner exchange and it turns out that Demitri is in fact alive. Also, Stevie is delaying her wedding for the future after the okay from whatever the name of her fiancée is. I’ll need to learn this since he will probably be more important in the future.

I’ll be back some time next season with new posts then. I don’t know yet when that will be, but we’ll see what happens. Remember that if a holiday related episode airs that I will probably post it as close to the holiday as possible. Until then, you’ll see the rest of the episodes in some order of some sort. Also, I believe that the actual spelling of Demitri is actually Dmitri. I’ll have to change that in posts for next season. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
