Episode from 11-17-2019
Ever since DTV happened, I
lost one of my FOX affiliates, never to get it again. There were other issues
with other channels, but not too many problems with most of them outside of
what I already had before all the channels had to go digital. I don’t rescan
the channels at all, but have updated what I can to get what I want that would
come in. Rescanning means potentially losing channels you already have, an
issue you don’t have to worry about with updating channels. Unless, of course,
you have a high def TV or a TV tuner, since you can only rescan with either of
those.
Why is this a sudden issue and
worth mentioning? Well, for some reason, it was randomly decided by someone
that the FOX affiliate I largely have no issues with would not be available on
the old DTV place that it was at and I had to rescan in order to keep getting
it. I’ve also had issues sometimes putting this on my laptop as it doesn’t
appear right while it works normally on TV. I have tried to get the new FOX on
my TV tuner, but have had potential issues with it. Thankfully, I still have
all the other ones. Thus, I may not be able to watch FOX shows on my laptop as
I don’t have it as a possibility right now and don’t want to risk losing
channels. I want to see something on my TV tuner.
В номере Time от 5-13-2019
In this old Elementary blog
post, I talk some about the 2018 Iowa governor race. I decided in the end that
I didn’t care who won and their Republican governor ultimately won reelection. I
also talk about the fact that I would intentional wear mismatched clothes, such
as a red shirt and orange shorts. Sadly, the elastic on these short have worn
out and I had to get new ones that can’t be mismatched. I also talk about the
mannequin challenge. I might need to post a video of either that or the song
that is used for the challenge. I also make a reference to The Flash and the
villain of its fourth season.
Sometimes, I wonder if
Republican’ts are cynical or if I only think that they are. What I mean by that
is that it seems that they would be perfectly fine if the people who don’t vote
for them die. I really hope that I’m wrong about this. Their opposition to
health care is the main reason that I feel that way. They also seem to be
against climate change issues in blue states like California. Many die because of
the big wildfires there. But Trump doesn’t care about climate change or a state
that wouldn’t vote for him. But he does care about the wildfires in Siberia. I
guess he knows that losing California to a Democrat by just one vote is the
same as losing by 2 million votes.
As much as I hate Trump, I
will always hate Mitch McConnell more. The only person who could possibly claim
to have done less and still stay in charge is Michael Madigan. But I know that
Mitch is worse. He will do whatever he can to appease the almighty Trump and go
against Democrats no matter which of his own policies he immediately would
reverse on. Here’s a poem about Mitch.
More problems have happened
under him than any other senator
Issues are caused over and
over again since he can’t really lead
To be honest, even a lot of
Republicans want to get rid of him
Conservatives have no worse
person from their party alive right now
He will continue to cause
issues until the day he dies
Merrick Garland deserved much
better
Can’t he see the errors of his
own ways?
Could Kentucky get rid of
their worst problem?
One might think he could lose
in the near future
Not that karma is working
right lately
Nor might he ever lose an
election
Everyone should know how badly
he sucks
Liberals need to put their
best candidate forward for his seat next year so a
Loss could still be in his
future
While some polling is
suggesting that right now, the Republican’ts will probably remain in control of
the senate after 2020’s elections, there could still be signs of bad chances
for that party in the future. They have been burning bridges and doing quite
terrible things. One can only hope that something will catch up with them after
all this time. They say karma is a bitch. Maybe Republicans will face
consequences of all their ill gotten ways in the near future.
If you have been following
this blog since at least last season, you would remember the Wisconsin lame
duck session that lead to the Republican’ts of that state limiting the incoming
Democrat’s governor power since one of their own would no longer be governor.
This wasn’t without precedent as North Carolina’s legislature did the same
thing two years prior. Now that a Democratic governor will be taking over
Kentucky, it would seem that they are trying to straight up change the results
of the election.
Of course, what we need to do
with every story is make sure that we get the story right. It seems that we may
not have much to worry about regarding whether or not Andy Beshear is denied
his rightful place as governor of Kentucky. There is not much Matt Bevin can do
to change his loss.
I realize that since the
Republican’t Party hardly represents America anymore, they shouldn’t do the
main pledge of allegiance anymore. They should do one dedicated to their dark
overlord, Trump. Here is the Trump pledge of allegiance, “I pledge allegiance,
to Donald Trump, and his horrible ways that we insist are wonderful and flawless
that we hope will stand quite a while despite the fact that they should be
gotten rid of by any decent people, one nation, that we claim is under God, but
has absolutely no actual way of really representing him, very divisible because
we pretentiously think that we are always right about everything and refuse to
change our minds except for when we were smart before he got elected and we all
rolled over for him, with liberty and justice for Republicans and the rich,
white men, but certainly not the accusers of people unless they are accusing
Democrats of something, probably not nearly as bad as what we did or were
accused of.”
A long time ago in this
country, there was a political party called the Know Nothing Party. They had
some racist beliefs and were to claim that they knew nothing when asked what
their beliefs are. Now, the Republican’t Party seems more like this defunct
party than anything good they might have been doing before. At least
Republicans have the pro-life support of many people who blindly ignore all of
the other, important issues. Otherwise, they might not get votes at all.
By now, Trump has done a good
job releasing the transcripts of his Ukraine phone call which happened only
because of a whistleblower releasing it first. There are no popular t-shirts by
those who still support Trump that say “read the transcripts.” This retort
might be common nowadays among the wrong. But I do wonder, if I asked someone
wearing that shirt what’s in the transcripts, would they even tell me? Wouldn’t
they just continue the usual “you do the thing!” that we typically hear from
them. I think that I’ll have to find the transcripts for myself. Besides, when
Republican’ts typically tell you to do something that they think proves their
point instead of telling you what the thing is themselves, they are typically
wrong about that thing. It happened with the uranium one scandal, for instance.
You will have to read my Good
Fight blog to catch more of my election coverage that will last as long as the
show is on hiatus or I need to publish other posts of it. Thus, I will tell you
some about elections and then get more into other ones later. I don’t know
which ones I might cover, when I’ll get to covering them, and if all I want to
will be covered or not.
This post will now cover the Kentucky
senate election for next year. Mitch McConnell is running for his seat again.
He and Wesley Morgan are the Republicans running. Knowing nothing else about
Wesley Morgan, I support him right now for the Republican nomination. The Democrats
currently running are Jimmy Ausbrooks, Mike Broihier, Steven Cox, Amy McGrath,
and Bennie Smith. Amy is currently the favorite to win. But I don’t plan to
donate to someone until after the primary. And that’s if I can afford to do it
then.
When it comes to the class two
senate elections next year, there are a few things to mention in it. They are
the 3 retiring Republican senators who are Pat Roberts of Kansas, Lamar
Alexander of Tennessee, and Mike Enzi of Wyoming. They could play an important
part in the impeachment vote. It would take only three Republicans to make a
vote secret. (I don’t know if secret vote means that final vote tally would be
a secret or just who voted for what.) They have no reason to stay loyal to
Trump and vote against impeachment. But that doesn’t mean that they will. Most
Republican’ts don’t have backbones in the political world today.
Earlier in this post, I used
the phrase Dark Overlord Trump. I decided that I quite like the phrase. I might
even try to get it trending on twitter sometime. But I might not return to
twitter for quite some time. I might not even return there this year. Dark
Overlord is a better label for him than president is. Thus, I will be calling
Trump a dark overlord for a while now.
Speaking of twitter, I may
post numerous links to facebook stories in this blog that I plan to put on that
site and twitter later. Now, I have a story about twitter to share as well.
Trump might have engaged in witness intimidation. Some have disputed that the
dark overlord had done this. And while they may not be wrong, there should
still be action taking by twitter by suspending Trump’s account.
With the Kentucky governor
election over for sure now, Matt Bevin has been defeated. This should not have
been the surprise that it was considering how he was ranked lowest by approval
rating out of all of the state’s governors. I don’t know who the next lowest
would be.
There were other things that I
wanted to share, but don’t have time for right now. I have been a bit sick
these past days and will transfer stuff meant for this blog post to the one after
the next one. Sorry if things get more confusing as a result…
Movie update: On Saturday, a
family visit prevented me from watching a movie that day. On Sunday, I watched
Our Lips are Sealed. I replaced that with Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. There
will not be a lot of time for me to watch movies this year since Christmas will
be coming up soon and I’ll be giving up my main movie lists in favor of that
instead.
I check to see what games are
on at around 5:54. The Patriots are playing the Eagles and the Patriots are
winning. Fuck that. Seeking not a Patriots game to watch, I check other
channels during this time. Both of my CBS affiliates are showing the fucking
Patriots game and the shows will be delayed today. FOX is not airing a football
game tonight. I watch The Simpsons rerun that is on. I check the game during
the commercials to see if the good guys win or the fucking Patriots do. I miss
the end of the game and can only assume that the fucking Patriots won. The
shows are starting on CBS.
Today’s episode is brought to
you by 48 minute delay. We begin with Blake talking to his fiancée. There are
then people from the FBI coming to investigate his place. Here I was thinking
that they did a good job when we normally see them from 8-9 Central on
Tuesdays. Blake talks about all of his material that was taken. They think that
Hansen is behind this. Here I was thinking that Leo Snart got redemption when
he saved us from the time master’s manipulations of the timeline. This must be
from before when the legion of doom got to him. Jason talks to a journalist
woman who thinks wrote a slanderous article about his mother, the president.
Elizabeth then talks to Mike about a comedy dinner that is coming up soon.
Mike
doesn’t think that she should do the dinner. He thinks she should just show up and then
leave. What is up with Mike, anyways? He is such a strange person and only
seems to be here to fill the places of those who left. Also, shouldn’t
Wentworth Miller be in the cast? I’ll be annoyed if his character is in every
episode this season if he is not ever put in the main cast, which I don’t think
that he’ll be. Elizabeth talks to the president of Iran on the election hack
that they did.
Stevie and Dmitri talk to each
other. He is getting tired of all the sex and not leaving the room. They seek
to do something else. Elizabeth talks to a spelling bee winner before the
journalists ask a bunch of things that they might have only known due to
Blake’s laptop being stolen by the feds.
In segment two, Blake talks
about how and why he had this information. They want to figure out what to do
and seek to go on the down low with figuring out what happened with the leak.
They then talk about what all happened with Iran over a recent attack there.
Elizabeth sees Stevie and they talk to each other about Dmitri. Stevie is
concerned about judgment from others over her quickly changing back to Dmitri
as she is concerned more so with her messing up her own relationship. Elizabeth
then talks to her husband over an article that was written over what Jason did.
Are we seeing Alison this season? It seems that Elizabeth seeks to find a good
way of moving forward with her children.
Iran has started hacking other
places and things of other countries. They are seeking to raise the price of
oil all over the place by causing this chaos. Due to failed measures, she has
to go to extreme measures, but is warned that doing so would be an act of war.
Interfering in the elections was an act of war. She does want options going
forward.
In segment three, Elizabeth is
told what Hassan wants in order to survive impeachment. She is hoping to
continue doing what the people put her in office to do. She then talks to Jason
with Henry about the article. Jason is sick of everyone attacking his mother.
That happens with every president. But some of them like the current dark
overlord don’t think criticism should ever apply to him. Stevie then goes out
with Dmitri while wondering if they are an official couple or not. He says that
he is never leaving again. Elizabeth is working at the jokes for the dinner.
She is concerned about her future and thinks that the country wasn’t ready for
its first female president. Well, they weren’t ready for a black one when they
got one, so that’s a valid concern. We thought we were…
Elizabeth is told what to do
with Iran and wonders if an invasion is possible. But she wants to avoid a long
war like we had in Iraq. What world is this show set in anyways? There could be
a mission there in the place in order for someone to face justice. Even if this
mission goes well, things could go quite a bit terribly because of this. I
think that Elizabeth wants to move forward still.
In segment four, Elizabeth
decides to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Jason does quite a bad
apology video online about his apology. Elizabeth doesn’t want to handle it,
but figure that Jason will learn a good lesson from doing this badly. She still
wants to talk to Hanson. After addressing others, she meets Jason’s girlfriend
or whoever she might be. She then talks to Hanson about his offer. She admits
that she has made mistakes and is single minded. She knows she might want to
compromise. But this is not what he wants. He wants her to surrender. She will
continue to work forward. He wants to admit that he gave her a chance. She
walks away without a deal.
In segment five, people say
that the Marshalls will take people home. Elizabeth says to go forward on the
attack. Jason and his girlfriend are made a bit uncomfortable by what some of
the jokes are. She talks to the crowd in a more though provoking speech than a
funny one. Meanwhile, the attack is going on against the leader of Iran. Hanson
doesn’t seem to like it, but he never the less stands and claps for her
anyways. He thinks that there is a pattern of secrecy in Elizabeth’s
administration. He thinks that all of the people working for her has done
something wrong.
What I think this is more of
the show’s way of taking down Trump’s way of doing things or how people might
view Hilary Clinton still. But her…! He thinks that they should move forward on
impeachment. She wants a minute before continuing forward with business as
usual. She tells Blake that he is not to blame for what has gone on. How are
they going to end this show? There are only three more episodes after this and
that includes the very last one.
On the next Madam Secretary, there
are still not really any real things seen about the future as they show a lot
of clips from previous shows. Maybe they don’t know what to reveal without saying
too much about the next episode. We will see what happens later, maybe. The
show isn’t too confusing, even if I can’t keep track of some of who’s who. For
now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode from 11-10-2019
This blog post will likely be
posted a day early as you should be able to tell now. This would be done in
order to appease the usual, random time I have to post a blog relating to a
cheat that I have. I guess that we’ll see just how often it might still appear
in the future.
As I talk about in this old
blog post on an episode of The Good Wife, it used to be that I wouldn’t be able
to see a lot of or any of the primetime shows on Mother’s Day. I don’t know what
changed. But I do talk about all the Sunday shows that I watched at the time.
Now, the Sunday shows that I watch are this show (Madam Secretary), 60 Minutes,
The Simpsons, Batwoman, God Friended Me, Bob’s Burgers, NCIS: Los Angeles, Supergirl,
and Family Guy. I do like The Rookie, but don’t plan to watch that again until
this show is over. There’s not much else notable that I talked about in the
blog post.
If I had to guess who some
liberals might be more likely to support through donations, one would be Adam
Schiff. He has made himself the crusader of the campaign to hold Trump
responsible for all of his wrongdoing. I hope the best for him and dedicate
this poem to him.
All of the world is watching
the impeachment news
Democrats should love their
starring man
Americans should be proud of
what he has done so far
Maniacs don’t like him
Some feel that he should go
instead of Trump
Can’t you tell the good he is
doing?
He will hold the wrongdoers
accountable
If he is successful, he’ll be
remembered as a hero
For much needs to be done
Finally, we could see Trump’s
comeuppance
I can only hope that I’ll be
able to see a Democratic presidential debate in the future. I have yet to see
any of the primary debates thus far as they tend to air on networks I don’t
get, channels that won’t come in, or at times I’m watching other things. You’d
think that they’d air it on all major networks and not have any competition
against it like with regular debates. But primaries aren’t as important still.
What I do know is that either
during a debate or some other time, Elizabeth Warren thought of what would be a
good plan for health care coverage. The pundits (who hate her with a passion)
are quick to jump over possible problems that it has. They don’t have much of a
chance of making a good point, even if the conversation here is hypothetical.
While vaccines are never
really political, that won’t stop it from being brought up in a post like this.
You see, there keeps being more and more evidence that not getting vaccinated
causes problems that just don’t happen if you do get vaccinated. You are a
terrible parent if your kid doesn’t get vaccines because you are ignoring sound
science in favor of a widely debunked theory.
It might honestly be a shame
if Trump is impeached and we’ll never know just how he’ll lose in 2020. I don’t
think that he can win and think that his dismal approval rating alone should be
the sign of that fact. If he is the nominee, states could be bluer than we’ve
ever seen them before. While there is a slim chance that he wins reelection,
his own trade war is going to make that harder for him to do in swing states,
as this article points out. Trump might even do poorly in red states.
After the 2018 midterms, I
said that I would only talk about the presidential race and not talk about any
of the other 2020 elections until after the 2019 elections. Since the 2019
elections are largely over at least before the next post, I will explain more
then about some of the races. I am largely talking about elections in my Good
Fight blog once a month. There won’t be as much time to talk about the future
elections in this blog as the show is winding down and will be gone soon. You
can only hope that there will be more of The Good Fight for me to talk about
current events in or that I create a new blog about another show that I put
political stuff in as well.
Movie update: On Saturday, I
watched I am Sam. I replaced that with Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. On
Sunday, I watched Space Jam. I replaced that with something like a movie called
Survivor: Borneo- The Greatest and Most Outrageous Moments. I wasn’t sure that
I was wanting to add it to the list at one point, but a contestant from that
season died recently so I will want to watch it again. I may even put the movie
updates in my Survivor blog if I haven’t seen that special before this year
ends.
I check what is on before
primetime starts. One of my CBS affiliates is airing their news after 5:35. My
other CBS affiliate is airing a national news show. I check for a game on FOX.
They are airing a game of the Panthers versus the Packers. The Packers are
winning.
I will largely be watching 60
Minutes since it is on time, checking the score of the game during breaks from
my show. I won’t see much of the game. It might get close enough that the
Packers might still lose this. But it doesn’t seem likely that they will.
There is a lot of snow getting
on the field as the game nears its end after 6:30 my time. I will watch the
rest of the game to see what could change, if anything. The Panthers could tie
this which would send the game into overtime. But the clock is against them,
leaving them with too little time. Sure enough, like a timed battle in a video
game gone wrong, the Panthers appear to lose when time expires. After much
review, the game does indeed end with the Packers winning.
While I didn’t catch the game
switching at first due to watching 60 Minutes, they are airing the end of the game
between The Rams and The Steelers. The score is Rams: 12, Steelers: 17. This is
another race to the end of the clock game. A touchdown would win this for the
Rams. But I doubt that they can pull this off. What is pass interference
anyways? Interceptions are a rule, but you can’t interfere with a simple pass
from one team to another? The Steelers do a homophone as they steal the ball
from the Rams and seal their loss. The clock counts down to a Rams loss.
Today’s episode is brought to
you by no delay. We begin with an alarm going off at Mike’s house. He gets
tazed for some reason. Don’t taze me, bro. Elizabeth learns of this weird
thing. We then learn more of what is going on with other things. Stevie is then
on the phone with Griffin, her boyfriend. He shows up to where she’s at. Elizabeth then watches a news
report where a towel is put someone’s head in order to prevent mind reading or
mind control. I wouldn’t go anywhere without my trusty towel. That’s what the
person who had broken into Mike’s house had tried to do with his head.
There is
said to be a sickness going on and Mike is affected by it. Elizabeth then meets
a K-pop star, I think. Shawn then drops a video that is fake that seeks to
negatively affect Elizabeth in some way. This also affects her foreign guest.
Shawn is the name of the person who did the towel conspiracy theory about 5G.
In segment two, we learn that
the video is revealed to be deep fake. It was done by actors and had the
subtitles added so people wouldn’t tell the distorted audio was faked out. The
trade agreement with the foreign nationals who I don’t think was actually a
K-pop person is in doubt, for a moment at least. They cannot get rid of the
video from Yourvid, which sounds like a copyright friendly version of YouTube.
The show then switches back once again to the love triangle with Stevie with
Dmitri calls her. They have wasted so many of the subplots of the show on her.
Maybe there is a K-pop star
mixed in with the foreign trade agreement as well. I’m confused and kind of
tired. I didn’t get my usual Sunday nap today. There are no policy against deep
fakes as some of them are not related to a fake news angle. The founding
fathers didn’t know the modern day people would be a bunch of idiots. That’s
what Mike thinks about it. Stevie talks to Dmitri about why he is planning to
leave the country so soon after becoming a citizen. Elizabeth gets more info
into the algorithms that are letting the playlist of certain views being shown
to others. How can they prevent the fake side from winning? They don’t know
just yet.
In segment three, Elizabeth
thinks that digital platforms need to be regulated in some way. Henry still
works with the social media star who does K-pop into working on a way forward
that needs done in some way, shape, or form. She is married to the president.
She wants a restriction on software to be lifted to help her country. Stevie
talks to Jay about what to do with her romance. He suggests that she stick with
Griffin. Russell talks to a person and it is revealed that she has to appeal to
Shawn in order to help move things forward. Rachel is someone that they
want to get nominated. The vice-president, Carlos, talks to Morrow, who I think
is the name of the senator who is trying to work with impeachment. Morrow wants
to work with Carlos and might even be implying that Carlos could be president
sooner than we think.
In segment four, Carlos talks
about Hanson. Hanson is his name, not Morrow. Hanson was talking about
impeachment. Carlos admits that Hanson wanted to make him president. The inner
circle is told about what had gone on. Mike then talks to two women about
what’s going on. Henry thinks that they might be able to get the NSA to sign
off on lifting restrictions. This could get the deal to happen. Stevie then talks
to Griffin while on a date with him. He wants to take the relationship further.
It’s not revealed what she thinks right now. But she is shown talking to
Dmitri. She wants to say that her relationship with him is done. But they wind
up kissing as he lets her in the house he lives at.
In segment five, the K-pop
star sings one of her songs at an event that Elizabeth is at. We then get to
her talking to a person there. She and Russell talk to her together. There is a
video service that the people of South Korea prefer to Yourvid. They tell this
woman that America might switch to using that if she is not able to shift the
public tide. Mike pretends that he has a son with his name and gets an
autograph of the K-pop star, Mrs. Swan. Carlos talks to Hassan again. Shawn was
banned from Yourvid. He is then on a video where he is freaking out over a
parking space. Stevie and Dmitri are shown again after and then right before
they had sex.
On the next Madam Secretary, they
either can’t say much without spoiling the story or there isn’t much to say as
the next episode might not be that good. It is also possible that they messed
up by not airing the right promo or getting one on time. It is hard to believe
that the show will be ending soon. Whatever happens next, I should be there.
For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode from 11-3-2019
I often start writing the next
post of this blog in advance when I don’t really need to be caught up. But I am
not caught up as well as I should be on the rest of this or other blogs or
other, more important things I have to write at some point. But I figured that this
was important enough to tell you about in one of my introductions since there
wasn’t much else to say.
William Barr is such a
terrible attorney general and person that I still don’t understand how even all
of the Republicans would think that he’s a good fit for the office. I honestly
wish that Jeff Sessions were still doing that job. Here’s a poem about William
Barr.
Was this guy even qualified to
take office?
Ill fitting for any legal job
Lots of crimes are being swept
under the rug
Lord knows what all he has
done wrong
Illegal activity is caused by
him, not prevented
America is suffering greatly
under him
May things turn against him
soon?
Bluntly: Jeff Sessions was
somehow much better
America is suffering due to
this attorney general
Republicans were stupid for
confirming him
Rare is the good thing that
happens under him
I don’t mention much about
things in the Elementary blog post mentioned here. I kept referring to the
flash drive that was in a man’s pinky as a pinky drive, using that terminology.
I also mention iZombie and God Friended Me, both shows that I like still. I
also talk some about shows replacing others that I like to keep track of at
time. I have a document on my laptop about it.
The poll tax was outlawed
under the Twenty-fourth Amendment. People must not have told the people who run
Florida about this as they were doing this in response to the law allowing
felons to vote again. Well, courts have ruled against this law. We can only
hope that this stands and isn’t fought more.
I once thought for a moment
that the Supreme Court hadn’t yet decided whether or not it was legal for Trump
to use the emergency funding to build his wall. Well, they did decide and it
will happen. But I do wonder if more trials could relate to the wall. I hope
that things aren’t over yet. If there are more legal challenges into Trump’s
wall, this should be the song playing on infinite loop in the background.
By now, you have probably
heard about yet another terrible thing that Republicans have done. Don’t worry,
though: this isn’t nearly as bad as most of their stunts. But we should
remember who did this, most of them who didn’t even need to. They should be
punished, but probably won’t be. If only I had a whole lot of money. Their
Democratic opponents would get more campaign money.
By now, you have probably
heard of the ISIS leader death. Mr. Bag Heady Bad Guy is gone from the world
now. I know that isn’t his real name, but why give a psychopath the
satisfaction of saying what his real name is? Trump talked about his death
saying things that might not have been true. But I like the way that Trump
talked about his death, even if it was terrible and mean spirited. They need to
make it a rule now that every asshole should have a different asshole talk
about his or her death. I already think that Michael Madigan should speak about
Trump’s death when it happens.
You might have heard a story
about a woman who resigned from Congress after rumors of an affair with a
staffer. What you might not have heard was the fact that she was the victim of
revenge porn. That throws a whole loop through the story that changes it a lot
more than you’d think it would.
Few Republicans oppose Trump.
Typically, they praise him at the morning, tell him what wrong thing he did at
times in the afternoon, and go back to being his friend again at nighttime.
Even those who say that they will leave office don’t do much against him. But
Trump still has choice words for the vast minority of people from his party who
oppose him. He called them human scum. This is what a man who is in charge of
the country is saying about members of his own party. Is this why people don’t
oppose him? They don’t want this label to apply to them? But it isn’t going to
apply to them even if he says it. People should be outraged at Trump’s
comments. But no one really is.
I have no idea how our divided
government might affect an impeachment. Of course, we act as if there has never
been a divided government under impeachment before. It was always that one
party would have control of both the house and the senate in previous cases.
While some people might not think that Republicans would vote in favor of
impeachment, some might vote for it. Plus, four of them are leaving office on
January 3rd of 2021, meaning they have nothing to lose by leaving
this sinking ship known as the S. S. Donald Trump.
While people standing up to
Trump is often brief and rare, I think to myself about the people who had voted
against Trump’s emergency declaration in an attempt to override his first veto.
There were 12 of them who did this. But we’ll see if I like any of them in the
long term or not.
Daily Kos seems to be sharing
stories against facebook a lot. I plan to share a lot of them on facebook. And I
might post them on my twitter page as well. We’ll see when I do that as I don’t
get on twitter a whole lot any more. I used to be so addicted to twitter that I
would give it up for Lent. Now I normally don’t give it up then as there’s no
real reason to give up something you hardly do.
As possibly stated earlier,
Trump described a constitutional provision that’s been in there since the very
beginning as a lynching. This earned a lot of condemnation from many people of
both sides, including even Mitch McConnell. Of course, there were those who
supported Trump’s comments like Lindsey Graham and Matt Bevin. Maybe he has a
small dictionary.
I try to pay attention to
Wisconsin politics whenever I want to ever since their former governor helped
try to get my former governor reelected by blaming all his problems on my
state’s terrible Speaker of the House. Right now, the only person I feel strongly
about getting out of office right now from that state is their senior senator,
Ron Johnson. He is unsure whether or not he’s retiring in 2022 when his seat
will be up again. But there is a potential scandal with him regarding Ukraine.
By now, I hope that you’ve
heard of what Brian Kemp did to get elected. That’s important now because his
state is set to do it again. I just hope that they do it enough time before the
election so that people are able to register again. Why do people live in that state?
While I maintain that Atheists
are typically wrong to think that Christians are brainwashed into being
Christians, there are times that those who aren’t actually Christian but claim to
be that way say such outrageous things that it would make Joseph Smith question
his way of thinking. There’s a reason that fundamentalists or evangelicals are
often separated from actual Christians.
Whistleblowers might be the
most important thing in the world today. Were it not for a whistleblower, we
might not know that Trump might have asked for illegal help from Ukraine. It
should be a great story for all that a military person reported the wrongdoing
as well. Sadly, the wrong is seeking to destroy his reputation now. I guess we’ll
see how his truth will speak to the greater good.
I honestly will probably never
stop using facebook as long as I’m still alive and there are no other issues
with me in some way. But they are being terrible with how they run their site
recently, allowing things that they shouldn’t. Here’s yet another example.
Back to what I was saying
earlier, there are reasons why I have a hard time trying to say good about the
Republican side of the aisle. A reason why relates to their dark crusade
against making sure that every person can get health care. If you have never
been denied it for any dumb reason like pre-existing conditions, that’s good
for you, but it is not good for those who have it. Until Republicans start
caring about the mental health of others, I don’t see why I should support
them.
If there is any good about the
Republicans is that sometimes they know what is wrong. Of course, they may not
know this unless someone phrases it in a way that makes them not realize that
it applies to their precious leader or others in their party.
Halloween may be over, but
that doesn’t mean that the spirit of a holiday where tons of kids would walk
right past the president of the United States and ignore him has gone away. He
created a terrible game for kids where they would build something like the
border wall right there in the White House. What is kind of funny is that they
have made more progress building that wall than one on the border.
Paraphrasing Ralph Dibny, I smell
a conspiracy. WikiLeaks dumped hacked emails that set to do bad things against
Hillary Clinton right before the DNC in 2016. And Republicans apparently knew
not only that it would happen, but when it would as well.
So much misinformation is
going on with how impeachment works. But a way that it shouldn’t work is that
the person who might be impeached shouldn’t be having meetings with those who
will be voting for or against such a thing. But I’m starting to think that we
live on opposite world where the backwards of everything is becoming what’s
normal.
Here’s a good article about
why people need to know what lynching is and how it is very far out of line for
one to describe a legal process as that. It is sad that a simple dictionary can
outdo a president. But this is the world we sadly live in nowadays.
I may never stop hating Mitch
McConnell, even after he dies. I just hope not to get cynical about such things
in the world. What is wrong with the world and why are so many people okay with
it? I would love to see Mitch lose renomination. Could it actually happen? I
guess we’ll have to see.
There is a reason that people
shouldn’t let Trump get away with everything. It sets a terrible precedent for
everyone that they too can get away with what illegal activity they want to.
Otherwise, the terrible world of the Purge movie series could actually happen.
Movie update: On Saturday, I
didn’t have time for a movie due to a family visit. On Sunday, I watched Shrek
2. I replaced that with Space Jam. I’m honestly surprised that I have as much
still left to watch in terms of movies. We’ll see if I’ll be dissolving a list
soon.
Later than I was wanting to, I
see a football game on one of my CBS affiliates. They are airing a game of the
Packers versus the Chargers. The Chargers are winning. I realize that I haven’t
been keeping track of the Chargers versus Rams update that I normally like to
do. Maybe I’ll do it later. With the Rams having a bye this week, that’s going
to mess up the whole system, really.
I see that FOX isn’t airing
any football so I check my other CBS affiliate to see if they are airing the
same game or a different one. They are airing the same game so I stick with it.
I don’t see a way for Green Bay to win the game this time. The Chargers have
too many points over them.
I switch to watching FOX. They
are airing an episode of The Simpsons that I have never seen before and it
could be on a tape that I haven’t gotten caught up on. I might be more behind
on tapes this year than usual due to working when shows are on and having to
record them instead.
The game ends with the
Chargers winning. It then switches to a game between the Browns and the
Broncos. The Broncos are winning the game. There isn’t much time left in the
game. But who knows what could change between now and then? When I check the game later,
it is over and 60 Minutes has started. I can only assume that the Broncos won
the game as a result. Maybe I’ll see a sports update or maybe I won’t. I watch
a rerun of Bob’s Burgers that I had seen before in the meantime. I don’t yet
know what this show will start, but find out what the time is later.
Today’s episode is brought to
you by 37 minute delay. We begin with Elizabeth and Daisy knocking on a door on
Election Day. Why is this set at nighttime? Wouldn’t most polls be closed by
then? They say that the polls will close in 20 minutes. Conrad shows up and
they take a person to the polls. Are they able to do that without breaking the
law? This man is named Barry. Have they done all they could?
Elizabeth talks about the dog,
which might be causing issues of sorts. Sure enough, there is a bust of Dwight
Eisenhower that winds up broken (or busted? Eh? Eh?) on the ground because of
the dog. We then get to Daisy talking about an issue we hadn’t seen before. There
was information revealed that was identical to what was revealed in the Iran
hack regarding an affair that their opponent had. But was there something that
Daisy did that was illegal? Can her story be collaborated? Elizabeth needs to
figure out what might be going on. Henry talks to a sculpture
about fixing the bust. I once looked for a statue of a head. The search proved
to be a bust.
Conrad arrives early to his meeting with the new president. He is
writing an album. We then get to the people having possibly found Claudine, the
French woman. She isn’t close to being here at the time. Can they find this
woman in time? The story broke the day after Daisy got the intel. She was not
wanting to reveal that she had information since their opponent would lie about
it and possibly ruin their campaign. Claudine might be working with the
Iranians and could have set up Daisy. Daisy is ready to offer her resignation.
In segment two, Elizabeth
rejects Daisy’s resignation. Daisy takes a leave of absence until the whole
thing blows over. Mike is very worrisome over what is going on. Elizabeth
thinks that they need to wait and see what is going on. Elizabeth then talks to
Henry about what is going on. It is possible that Daisy could wind up in jail
over what went on. There might be issues with Conrad’s marriage. There is a
guest press secretary who talks to people and a woman journalist comes in and
talks to Mike. She thinks that she might get a book deal out of her source or
something strange like that.
In segment three, Elizabeth
talks to the press directly about Daisy’s situation. Valerie, the journalist
who went to see Mike, is missing and the people storm out over this. That was
weird. She was in jail for the crime of contempt. What is going on and why does
this show have to be so strange? Russell seeks to change the conversation.
Conrad is going to be a grandfather. He’s also going to join UNISEF.
Elizabeth
is wanting her kids to have kids. That’s a strange thing to want. And none of
them are married or should be having kids just yet. Elizabeth could pardon
Valerie, but doesn’t want to potentially ruin Daisy’s career since it could
have some sort of affect like that. Daisy is alone with her kid. She then
watches the news. It seems that Leo Snart, or whatever his name is, wants to
impeach the president. Did you know that the first Bush was the last president
to face no efforts of impeachment against him?
In segment four, Russell talks
with the senator about him leaking the investigation and other issues that have
been going on. Valerie being put in prison gets back to Stevie who talks to her
mother about it. Henry tells his daughter that Dmitri is getting nationalized
to the US, becoming a citizen of this country. They then watch Conrad do an
interview with Bob Schaeffer. Conrad thinks that senator Hanson is being
terrible with his impeachment crusade. Conrad then performs a song.
Elizabeth doesn’t want to push
her husband away and talks to him about him. Henry reveals that Daisy had
accepted the flash drive while Elizabeth isn’t sure of any wrongdoing right
now. Ethics can’t be cherry picked. Henry thinks that Elizabeth has to let
Daisy go.
In segment five, Elizabeth
talks about Conrad while revealing the portrait of him. The bust of Eisenhower
is seen in the background, fixed from what had happened before. Elizabeth then
talks to Conrad some about what has gone on. Daisy is press secretary for one
last time, explaining the pardon of Valerie. Daisy had resigned and this time,
Elizabeth accepted it. Elizabeth tells Mike that she wants an off the books
meeting with Valerie. A family talks to Henry before
we get to a court. Stevie goes there and gives Dmitri a gift. He takes the oath
to become a US citizen.
Valerie and Elizabeth want an apology from each other.
Who gave the anonymous source? Valerie says that it wasn’t Daisy. Mike and
Russell talk to each other about what is going on what using senator Hanson as
a dart board. Back in the past, they get news on the phone that Elizabeth won
the states she needed to and won the election as a result.
On the next Madam Secretary, there
is a fake video that seems to be causing issues. That’s all I can really gather
from the promo in question. The show is winding down as we are in the final
countdown. If only we knew for sure what could happen in the end and why they
always need a male villain in this show to keep things lasting over and over
again. I hope there’s a good ending to this show as I can’t tell where they are
going with this show. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
