Politics: Why Warping Religion is Never Good

While this may not seem like a political based post to you, I assure you that religion and politics do mix as most of you well know even if it shouldn’t mix at some point. People tend to use religion to justify their own horrible means, such as with the Crusades or jihad or tons of other things like that in the end. There are good natured people who want to do things right. There are people who aren’t as good who don’t realize that certain problems apply to them. This post will talk about what I feel can only be best described as religious nuts. What I mean by that are people who warp religion for their own means and take out any real value it was supposed to have. There are a lot of these from different religions so they are good to cover.

Let’s start with a man named Charles Guiteau. While you probably aren’t familiar with the name, he proved a pivotal part of US history as due to him, a United States president, namely James A Garfield, was assassinated. What makes Charles a religious nut goes beyond mental health issues that he suffered with for quite some time. He thought that God told him to kill James and that is the reason why nut comes to mind. There’s a reason the bible says “Thou shall not murder.” He could have possibly suffered from paranoid schizophrenia or some other condition that caused him to hear voices that aren’t there getting him to believe things that aren’t real.

A more recent example of a religious nut is a man named Fred Phelps. While he lead a cult that was under the guise of a church, any real Christian would know that what he spoke of what not from the bible or any Christian church. He lead protests at funerals and preached a gospel of hate that tons of places in the bible contradict. I assure you that he is burning in hell right now along with tons of other heathens.

The Klu Klux Klan is yet another example of people who pervert religion. They think that they are representing God somehow when they burn crosses or discriminate, be it against blacks or anyone else who they look down on.

Of course, Christianity is far from the only religion that has nuts it in that claim to represent it when they don’t. ISIS claims to represent Islam as do many foreign terrorist organizations. But it is no more likely that Muslims attacked the US on 9/11 than it was that those preaching the hate that the Westero “Baptist” [cult] preach actual Christian beliefs.

This warping of religion was probably used by Hitler to support his horrible beliefs. It might have even been used by Stalin as well. Even if it wasn’t, I’m sure that there were and still are people who discriminate and even kill based on the beliefs that these people had.

Then we get to recent events. You don’t attend church or have any signs of faith and yet many see you as God’s candidate somehow. You then order the firing on your own people who are peacefully protesting just so that you can get a photo op at a church. You’d think that people would see through your bullshit after a moment like this, but some will probably still defend this man, dying of a poor covid19 response, but still making sure your tombstone says that you still support Trump. Maybe you should see how the guy in the White House does wrong.

If Trump is God’s candidate, one would then have to argue that whoever got elected in this or any other country was God’s candidate regardless of which religion they are or how closely they follow it. By that logic, God put any Atheist into office just like any Muslim or tons of others who hold whatever belief they have. If you told me that Trump was God’s candidate, I’d have to point to you to the members of the squad, one of whom is Muslim, and see if you believe that she was also God’s candidate for that office or if you fail to support the very theory you support.

Let’s face it: warping religion for your own personal gain is horribly wrong and goes against what God teaches. I’m sure that Satan loves the confusion and misdirection as he gets those who think that they represent Christ or his people to say things that are wrong according to the bible or any other Christian beliefs. You have to find the nuts and get rid of them before they spread to other places. It is the only way to make sure that politicians actually represent God and that’s if you even vote for Christians or those who call themselves that or otherwise are mistakenly believed to be that. Don’t warp religion and always check what one says versus what the bible says and you will be sure to avoid voting for disaster. Biden is Christian, but Trump is not.

Politics: The Important Definition of Fascism

If you have ever heard the Trump administration being called fascist, then you might want to know what that actually means, in case you haven’t heard the definition of it already. You also might not have thought it was anything other than an insult. But while it can be an insult and used on Republican’ts like they love calling us socialist, ours has way more meaning.

Fascists are the type of people who would do harm to their own people without caring about any and all of the potential negative consequences. They would fire on their own people while going across the street to a church for a photo op. And that’s just one example from the Divided States of America. There have been far worse examples from other countries in recent history and even still now. We wouldn’t want to live in North Korea where they worship their leader who might not even still be alive now. All I know is that it could get worse here and probably will before the Trump administration is over. But how bad are things now versus the horrible past of fascism in other countries?

Let’s face it, fascism was way worse in the past than it might be now in any country. And any of it that might exist in America isn’t as bad or under such horrible affects as tons of other places where it is bad or used to be bad.

Indeed, it is possible that despite the frequent label that is given to the guy in the White House, maybe he isn’t as terrible as being fascist, despite being horrible in tons of other ways. I even read an article about that in Vox, but I’d argue that what I read of that hasn’t aged well since a lot of it is now outdated and thus contradicted by events that have since happened after it.

This blog isn’t meant to be news as too much of it is opinion based and it fails to meet a lot of what you’d expect from news so don’t go quoting me as if I’m news. But I’m still posting what I think are good things to share that are relevant in some way.

I’m losing focus of this blog post. Know that fascism occupied the worst of history when the Nazis in Germany took over and committed genocide against many people. But there can be the horrible threat of the worst form of government without it killing any people. It still has a way of total dictatorship taking over the country and dominating the people in some way.

The best example that I can think of relating to what fascism is like is the book and movie series called The Hunger Games. They were perfectly okay in this movie series to make children or others in various districts compete against each other for food. The government in that movie was free to beat their own citizens when they showed signs of protest. They fired on their own people in the hopes that it would cause division and turn people against each other.

Signs of fascism have been seeping in this country where Trump could “acquitted” by those of his sadly loyal followers who will excuse any and all of his behavior for what little good they see him doing or delude themselves into thinking that he’s doing. They want to follow his terrible orders of making his own problems, namely the Ukraine scandal, about Biden instead. There are people who just don’t have the sense to abandon these ways.

Well, I hope that this post had a point in the end. You can probably get better information on the terrible ways of fascism somewhere else. You’d probably rather be dead than fascist, but at least if you aren’t dead (like my pastor said), you could be able to fix the problem.

Cast Update 6-2-2020

If all went as planned and it probably should even if certain things change, you should know that the cast updates of this blog will now be on the first Tuesday of the month. This will be in addition to all the other updates that might occur throughout this blog in the future. Note that all the production shutdowns and lack of potential future career for a lot of these people means that I won’t be sharing anything real new in this update, but I still hope that you enjoy it nonetheless as I feel that I have to write something at some point and can only hope that these people will be doing more things that I can cover.

Tea Leoni: She will be in a project called Endangered, which will be a movie. There are no other things that I see her in right now besides that. I don’t know when they finished filming the show, but you’d think that those who are still doing projects will have stuff right now to do (if that makes sense).

Endangered: This is a movie about the lives of threatened species. We’ll see what role she has in it. The website I’m checking makes it seem like she’ll be lending her voice to it so maybe it will be some sort of documentary. The release date is unknown now.

Bebe Neuwirth: She’s had a recurring bit on Blue Bloods and may show up on it from time to time. There are other minor things that she has done. It appears that she will be in a new movie called Modern Persuasion. Another thing she is appearing in is Julia.

Modern Persuasion: This movie has an unknown release date at this time. The plot is about a woman’s ex-boyfriend hiring her company which forces her to deal with various things in her life. I don’t know yet what role Bebe will play in this.

Julia: This is a pilot for a show about Julia Child, the chef. We’ll see if anything comes from the pilot in the future or not. It would have an edge if it was already filmed. The release date is currently unknown for this. Maybe one will never come.

Geoffrey Arend: He hasn’t really been doing that much yet. Maybe he will later. I guess we’ll see what will become of his career. Maybe there will be something in the future. I can only hope so. Until then, just wait to see what happens.

Kathrine Herzer: She hasn’t been doing much since the show ended or now, it seems. Maybe she is going back to a more normal life. Not all the child actors or actresses continue into the field when they get older as they want to do other things in life. Remember the people from Shining Time Station?

Evan Roe: Again, this person has not been doing much after the show ended. I guess it hasn’t been over long enough or a lot of these people just haven’t found a new job yet. You’d think that the filming would have ended long enough ago, but maybe not.

Tim Daly: I might easily run out of ways of saying that people from this show haven’t done much of anything yet now that the show has ended and it hasn’t been over that long. I can only hope that there are a lot of people who have something in the work at some point.

Zeljko Ivanek: He also has no new projects in the works right now, although he could be wanting to retire in the future or something like that. I won’t make assumptions and just wait until the next time I see something potentially in the next post.

Erich Bergen: He’s also doing nothing yet as of the show ending. How recently did filming wrap? Was it not that long ago? Why is no one that I’m looking up doing anything yet? I don’t get it. Whatever the reason, he has nothing yet and maybe that will change later.

Patina Miller: She is the narrator of a show called Word Party. That’s all that she’s doing for now. I think that she’s a mother so that may affect how much work she’ll be able to do. We’ll see what goes on in her life and I hope she can do something I can watch. She will also be in a project called Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

Word Party: This is a Netflix kids show that is available now. Patina is the narrator of it. I don’t know much about it. I doubt that I will be able to see it in the future. This show is about teaching others how to talk and learning simple things like that.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan: This isn’t set to air until 2021. It is a prequel about Kanan Stark, whoever that is. I doubt already that I’ll be able to see it, although I guess that it is possible that I might at some point. I hope to find out more info about this soon.

Wallis Currie-Wood: She has done very little outside of the show. Maybe she will do something more in Hollywood or maybe not. It will be hard to understand some of why I’m not seeing much in terms of what the cast is doing in the future unless or until more time passes.

Keith Carradine: He has two projects in the works. One is called Sallywood. The other one is called The Daylong Brothers. We’ll see what happens between those and anything else that he does. I look forward to hopefully seeing these films at some point in time. He will also be in something called The Power of the Dog. Maybe more will happen in the future.

Sallywood: This movie romantic in some way, but I don’t know if it’s a comedy or not. It is about a man who moves to Hollywood and becomes a woman’s personal assistant. They’ll be more to it than that. It has an unknown release date at this time.

The Daylong Brothers: This has an unknown release date at this time. It is about three brothers who try to get revenge on their father for selling their souls. This could be interesting, even if I don’t really like to watch horror films. But this could just be normal supernatural.

The Power of the Dog: I don’t know why they are making a Trump based movie. Wait, this has nothing to do with politics. It is about sibling rivalry that happens between two men who are brothers when one of them gets married. It is set for release in 2021.

Sebastian Arcelus: It looks like he will appear in a TV movie or perhaps potential pilot called Blanco. He’s doing better than others in terms of projects in the works. He’s also doing a project called Homebound. That is it for now.

Homebound: This is set for release in 2020. It is about a woman searching for her therapy dog as she deals with personal fears or things like that. There is no trailer for this yet or specific release date. It could be good, but I won’t know unless I can see it at some point.

Blanco: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It is about a criminal who seeks to work with the cops only to build his criminal empire. I have no idea what network this would air on, if any. This might be just another in a long line of passed pilots that I get confused about and wind up in this blog for a long time like what you might have seen in my CSI: Cyber blog.

Sara Ramirez: Despite not appearing or even being mentioned in the final season of this show, she has not done a thing since leaving this show. The others I can understand as they haven’t been off the show this long, but I want her to do something. And I hope she improves her hairstyle for the future.

Kevin Rahm: While the entire world is crazy right now and pilot season messed up, there still might be hope that he is doing something as I see him in Vegas High, the potential pilot for a TV show. We’ll see what, if anything, comes of it later.

Vegas High: This is a pilot for HBO Max. Whether or not it becomes a series is unknown, but if they already filmed the pilot, it would have an edge on other shows. The plot is about a female torn between her Mormon life and the fast paced life of Las Vegas. The release date is currently unknown.

Barbara Hall: It does not appear that she will have much of a role in the new show Tommy after all so I’m removing it from the updates. I will see what future, if any, she might have in the film or movie industry, but will not be covering that show in this blog anymore. If you want to get a brief review of that show, read my TV blog.
