Politics: Why are Democrats Considered the Lazy Party?

Since I had been switching between talking about Republicans and Democrats in the main posts of this blog before the show ended. I thought that I might as well continue that theme in this post by talking about Democrats. This will continue in posts in this blog for a while, where you will see posts about the Democratic side of things. I figure that I might as well get started with this starting with this post.

You see, a common misconception about the Democratic Party is that they are lazy. Maybe this is just what the Republican’ts want others to think about those who vote that way and not the actual politicians in that party. Or maybe they want to continue the myth that it is actually their party that is hard working. Well, I might as well explain why I think Democrats have this unfair label about themselves.

Republicans present themselves as for the farmers and the hard working people while they dismiss the Democrats as not for the everyman. Of course, Republicans are more likely to be part of the elitist communities while not caring that the tariffs that Trump does hurts farmers as they give them handouts for the harm that they themselves cause.

Let’s face it, the Republicans are for the rich people. But the rich are not lazy and that is why they believe that Democrats are lazy. But the Democrats want to help the poor and unfortunate because they know that many rich people won’t. While there are some rich people that do help by giving away their money to worthy causes, it is worth noting that trickledown economics are a myth that doesn’t help those of lower classes. George Herbert Walker Bush knew this himself. He called such a thing voodoo economics. Rich people aren’t going to give anything away that they don’t want to. Thus, we have people like Trump in control of things, only using his and other’s money to advance his own causes.

I might be losing my point here. The point that I want to make that it is not the Democrats who are lazy in my mind. Look at what happened with Merrick Garland. His borking was due to the efforts of the Republican’ts, and yet the Democrats are the lazy ones? There were all sorts of judges that were borked under the Obama administration. Borking isn’t done if you want to get things done. The only time Republicans want to get things done is when it benefits them.

When it comes to things not getting done in this country, it is often the Republican’ts that are the ones responsible for things not getting done. The best example of this is evident right now with the current Democratic House of Representatives versus the Republican’t controlled Senate. The House keeps passing legislation that the Senate refuses to act on. Since Trump won’t act on all this good stuff, Mitch McConnell blocks it by doing nothing with it. And yet it is the liberals who do nothing? Remember when, before the Democrats took charge on the House, nothing was getting done as well? The Republican’ts had a national trifecta and yet, they did nothing. Can this myth that the Democrats are lazy just die?

What else is there to say? I don’t think that there is much else. I hope that I made a point in this post that people can agree on. If someone tells you that the House isn’t getting stuff done, then you let them know how they are wrong. And don’t let anyone tell you that Democrats are the party that’s lazy in the end.

Politics: Republican Dictionary

As an autistic person, it can be hard to understand neurotypical people at times as they often say things that don’t make sense to me based on how I thought things were actually worded. Now we have Republicans who seem to love to redefine words nowadays. They seem to be way worse at what words mean than anything I was ever used to before. So I thought that I would say a lot of words and come up with what Republicans think they mean. Here is your own version of a modern day Republican dictionary.

Electoral College landslide: Whatever Trump’s victory was. Let’s hope people don’t look at all of the Electoral College votes from presidential elections past to find out how completely bogus this was since it would ruin one of our go to reasons for why Trump can’t be impeached.

Hate: 1- Something that only the Democrats ever do. Boo! Hiss! Don’t you just hate them and how they hate our total awesome dear leader? 2- Something that we did a lot to Obama. Man, I miss those days. But let’s not dwell on that anymore. 3- Something that we should always do with Hilary Clinton and Bill Clinton because they are as guilty as sin about anything and everything we ever always say that they are.

Lies: 1- Anything and everything that we say or do in order to win. Who needs facts on our side when lies work so much better? Who cares just how obviously wrong they always are? People on our side will just buy them up as lies circle around the world before the truth has made it out the door. 2- Stuff Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton would say a lot. Remember them? Boo! Hiss! They lie a lot and you can’t support liars like them especially when Trump lies more about worse things, but you can’t forget their lies.

Overturning the results of an election- Our most outrageous and obvious lie about impeachment that we love to constantly spread. If Trump would be impeached, that would overturn the results of an election. I’m not sure how that will happen as a lot of what he has done thus far cannot be undone easily and we aren’t saying that he was never rightfully supposed to be president. But you cannot oust someone without overturning election results in our mind.

Perpetrator: Anyone who accuses another of a crime is clearly guilty of something whether or not it is straight up lying or something else like that. They are guilty of crimes and have to be because our dear leader or whoever else is accused of something can’t be guilty as it is instead those who accuse others of crimes.

Racist: Anyone who would dare accuse another of being racist. Those people and only those are the racist people in the world. It certainly isn’t those who say racist things or are racist. No, it is only the ones who call others racist. Think of the hatred it causes! Boo! Hiss!

Socialism: NEVER EVER DEFINE THIS WORD OR SAY WHAT IT MEANS! We might not even be sure what it means ourselves. We just know that we don’t like this and will accuse liberals of this and say that it is bad every time they want to accomplish something.

Tyranny of the majority: Anything that the Democrats want to do in the House that could often just be ignored or voted down in the Republican senate. This is another thing that we like to say in order to anger people and get them on our side.

Victim: Anyone and everyone accused of a crime. Clearly, they are always victims of a smear campaign and lies. Lots of lots of lies. Don’t you just hate the lies that these people do? Boo! Hiss! Trump is always a victim and we are always victims when accused of anything wrong or people don’t like us for some reason.

I could add more, but I think that I will end this post around here. Do you think that I did these definitions well? Does this sound like how Republicans talk and what they mean when they lie or say other things like that? I’ll see what any of you think about it.

Cast Update 1-7-2020

It will be hard for me to keep track of when the updates of this blog will be and when I post this blog. Since I have a cheat where specific dates post this blog, that would mean that the first update of this blog could change in the future. Just keep an eye out and I will let you know if this cheat moves to other blogs or not as well. I’ll keep track of what is going on as it happens and know that a post of this blog might appear on more than just the cheat days and not always the first Tuesday of the month like today is.

Tea Leoni: She will be in a project called Endangered, which will be a movie. There are no other things that I see her in right now besides that. I don’t know when they finished filming the show, but you’d think that those who are still doing projects will have stuff right now to do (if that makes sense).

Endangered: This is a movie about the lives of threatened species. We’ll see what role she has in it. The website I’m checking makes it seem like she’ll be lending her voice to it so maybe it will be some sort of documentary. The release date is unknown now.

Bebe Neuwirth: She’s had a recurring bit on Blue Bloods and may show up on it from time to time. There are other minor things that she has done. It appears that she will be in a new movie called Modern Persuasion. It turns out that she’s in Jumanji: The Next Level. I wonder what else she’ll do.

Modern Persuasion: This movie has an unknown release date at this time. The plot is about a woman’s ex-boyfriend hiring her company which forces her to deal with various things in her life. I don’t know yet what role Bebe will play in this.

Jumanji: The Next Level: This is in theaters now. I might review it in this post or one of the later ones at some point in time. Or I could wait and hope that I can see it on DVD, although I more than likely will see it in theaters if and when I can. It will be on DVD in April of 2020.

Review: Movie Name- Jumanji: The Next Level. Genre- Supernatural, action, adventure, teen drama. Rating- PG-13. Noteworthiness- This is the third movie in the jumanji series. Description- The boy from the previous movie thinks he can get more out of life by going back to a cursed game he was good at so his friends go in to rescue him as well. Madam Secretary Alumni in it- Bebe Neuwirth, who was also in the first movie in the series, plays a minor role towards the end of the movie. Pros- The plot is easy to follow and understand. Enough of it works on its own without having to see the earlier movies before it. Cons- Parts of it seem cartoony and don’t make as much sense as it should. There isn’t much of a sense of danger to a lot of it. Note to Parents- There is bad language in it such as swear words being said. There are some minor sexual situations in it, but nothing too bad. There are some sorts of deaths in it, but nothing too graphic or permanent. Recommendation- I think that this might be worth seeing, but more if you have seen as least the second one first so it will make more sense. IMDB Ranking: 7.0. My Grade: B-.

Geoffrey Arend: He hasn’t really been doing that much yet. Maybe he will later. I guess we’ll see what will become of his career. Maybe there will be something in the future. I can only hope so. Until then, just wait to see what happens.

Kathrine Herzer: She hasn’t been doing much since the show ended or now, it seems. Maybe she is going back to a more normal life. Not all the child actors or actresses continue into the field when they get older as they want to do other things in life. Remember the people from Shining Time Station?

Evan Roe: Again, this person has not been doing much after the show ended. I guess it hasn’t been over long enough or a lot of these people just haven’t found a new job yet. You’d think that the filming would have ended long enough ago, but maybe not.

Tim Daly: I might easily run out of ways of saying that people from this show haven’t done much of anything yet now that the show has ended and it hasn’t been over that long. I can only hope that there are a lot of people who have something in the work at some point.

Zeljko Ivanek: He also has no new projects in the works right now, although he could be wanting to retire in the future or something like that. I won’t make assumptions and just wait until the next time I see something potentially in the next post.

Erich Bergen: He’s also doing nothing yet as of the show ending. How recently did filming wrap? Was it not that long ago? Why is no one that I’m looking up doing anything yet? I don’t get it. Whatever the reason, he has nothing yet and maybe that will change later.

Patina Miller: She is the narrator of a show called Word Party. That’s all that she’s doing for now. I think that she’s a mother so that may affect how much work she’ll be able to do. We’ll see what goes on in her life and I hope she can do something I can watch.

Word Party: This is a Netflix kids show that is available now. Patina is the narrator of it. I don’t know much about it. I doubt that I will be able to see it in the future. This show is about teaching others how to talk and learning simple things like that.

Wallis Currie-Wood: She has done very little outside of the show. Maybe she will do something more in Hollywood or maybe not. It will be hard to understand some of why I’m not seeing much in terms of what the cast is doing in the future unless or until more time passes.

Keith Carradine: He has two projects in the works. One is called Sallywood. The other one is called The Daylong Brothers. We’ll see what happens between those and anything else that he does. I look forward to hopefully seeing these films at some point in time.

Sallywood: This movie romantic in some way, but I don’t know if it’s a comedy or not. It is about a man who moves to Hollywood and becomes a woman’s personal assistant. They’ll be more to it than that. It has an unknown release date at this time.

The Daylong Brothers: This has an unknown release date at this time. It is about three brothers who try to get revenge on their father for selling their souls. This could be interesting, even if I don’t really like to watch horror films. But this could just be normal supernatural.

Sebastian Arcelus: It looks like he will appear in a TV movie or perhaps potential pilot called Blanco. That is currently the only thing that I see him working on right now. He’s doing better than others in terms of projects in the works.

Blanco: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It is about a criminal who seeks to work with the cops only to build his criminal empire. I have no idea what network this would air on, if any. This might be just another in a long line of passed pilots that I get confused about and wind up in this blog for a long time like what you might have seen in my CSI: Cyber blog.

Sara Ramirez: Despite not appearing or even being mentioned in the final season of this show, she has not done a thing since leaving this show. The others I can understand as they haven’t been off the show this long, but I want her to do something. And I hope she improves her hairstyle for the future.

Kevin Rahm: He has almost exclusively done just TV shows in some way. As most of the cast thus far, he has not done anything yet since leaving the show. But I look forward to seeing what he might do and if he appears on a show that I like.

Barbara Hall: On second look, it appears that she will be a producer in a project called Tommy that is set to air later this year. I don’t yet know how involved she will be with the project. She might only be helping with just the pilot.

Tommy: This is currently set to start airing on February 6, 2020. It will be on Thursdays at 10/9 Central on CBS. Despite its seemingly male name, it is about a woman who finds herself in charge on the NYPD.
