In all of the talk in the Trump administration about the America first policy, it might be hard for some people to want to counter the argument. But they should because it’s a bad policy. Why is it bad for us? I’ll explain.
The
biggest reason why is simple: we need allies. If we are only supporting
ourselves, what would we do if we needed help from others? People would also
get along without us and not need us for anything. That is also a problem.
Other
problems with the whole America first policy are as follows: pride. We seem too
full of ourselves and not as good as we could be. It can also increase racist
tendencies because who needs no sticking foreigners under these circumstances?
It also just seems like a bland promise that people can needlessly follow
without any thought of actual real ideas to move forward.
I
can’t think of much else to say in this post. There isn’t much else that I need
to say. This could be a good idea, but it isn’t as it just doesn’t have that
good an afterthought. It seems good, but only if you don’t count retrospect or
think things through.
