Episode from 1-14-2018

Well, sorry for not telling you the last Rams versus Chargers update in the last post. Hopefully it isn’t too late for those of you who may or may not care about such things. The Rams were 11-5 in the regular season and lost only one away game this whole season, including postseason, but not preseason. The Chargers had a 9-7 record and could have been in the playoffs were it not for how the ties are resolved. Their record was mixed when it came to where they lost, whether it was at home or on the road. Since the Rams lost the wild card to the Atlanta Falcons, I might want to make them an anti-team where I root against them unless they play a lower ranked anti-team. After the Super Bowl, I should have rankings of all the teams I care about that might have changed from the last one including a new tier 2 of four new teams. As for anti-teams, I’ll explain more about them in the next post.

I don’t know whether or not I will I will be able to do a post on the Illinois’s Attorney General race this year or not. I may do a quick mention of it in the regular posts like this one. I don’t have it written yet and am not sure of who all is in the race. I guess it depends on when this show airs, if I have something written, when I do political posts, and if I can get to this before the March 20th primary in Illinois. Right now, I will probably stick with Scott Drury.

Something that I wonder about a little is this, “Who the heck is Omerosa?” Am I even spelling the name right? But then I wonder: do I even care? I have no idea who this person is or why people care. I just see her as another person that Trump fired.

Some of you might have heard now about a sex scandal relating to Eric Greitens, the current governor of Missouri. What is known for sure is that he had an affair. What isn’t know if anything else bad was done as well. Originally, the story made it sound like revenge porn could be included. Then the woman who had the affair (still not identified by some), said that she didn’t want this story told and someone else said the story. Now if she had nude photos of herself taken without her consent, surely she would tell people about it if the governor of Missouri did this. But if she is saying that she didn’t want the story to be known, then maybe nothing bad happened except the affair. Or maybe, people got to her and told her to recant the story or suffer the consequences. I guess we will see what happens and if anyone else accuses Eric of anything bad or not. The weirdest thing I can think of related to this possible attempted extortion scandal is that his mistress is also his hairdresser. Men have hairdressers?

I don’t know if any of you watch the show Match Game on ABC, but they had a question there which wondered what Michael Jackson song should be played when the president comes out instead of Hail to the Chief. It’s a good thing that I wasn’t playing because I don’t know his songs that well. They chose the song Beat It and after listening to the lyrics, I would have to agree.

Soon, the Winter Olympics will be taking place. Some of you may know that the last time this happened, there were enough Russians that were doping in it that the country is banned from playing this time around. It’s nice to know that people will punish them for cheating. If only there was more of that. But if you know me from facebook, you will have seen Russian updates for a while. They might return in the near future or they might not.

Now I was lucky that I was even able to see this episode live. My sister and her baby came over, causing me to miss every other show that I care about tonight. At least I got to see this on time. I don’t know what I would do if I miss an update. I want to keep the rest of this blog up to date for as much as I can, but in case I can’t, then it will be updated at some point and I should explain the weirdness.

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin with some sort of attack on a tech place, by the looks of it. We then go to a moment with the McCord family. Kat comes in to tell Elizabeth about the sonic attack in Bulgaria. It was the American embassy there. This is considered to be an attack according to Conrad. He makes a Trumpian claim against Russia. That took a while. But I thought that he wasn’t the Trump of this show. The problem might be Harrison, but I can’t remember who that is.

In segment two, Elizabeth’s team talks about how to address the president’s controversial comments. Why is Conrad taken things so personally? There is a sudden water problem in the house. The guy who is fixing or trying to fix the problem is very weird about the whole thing. Henry wants to try to find out what really happened in Bulgaria. Conrad meets with people and gets very testy. He even fires someone on the spot. What is wrong with him? He thinks that he’s being tough on the situation, but everyone else seems to just be seeing an ass.

In segment three, Henry’s team looks into more of the problem. Elizabeth and various other people wind up having a secret meeting where they all threaten to quit if need be. A lot is discussed regarding all that is going on. There is more of the McCord kids going through the waterlogged things that was in the basement.

Elizabeth talks to Lydia, whoever that is, about the problems going on with Conrad. Is Lydia his wife? Any possible wife of his has never shown up before. Elizabeth and Henry talk more to each other. Will Conrad use missiles to strike Russia’s satellites? They find out that the sonic blasts were not an attack but the interference of crossing frequencies. Yet Conrad still wants to strike them. He and Elizabeth talk some more and he continues his terrible character transformation. Why do this?

In segment four, there is another secret meeting with a whole lot more people. I don’t think that all of this will end well for people. Russell talks about what to do regarding Conrad’s mental instability. The people gathered are part of the cabinet and want to invoke the 25th Amendment. Based on what I saw on the news, if the president objects, it will take more than just a simple majority of the cabinet. I will admit that this is one of the better episodes.

Jason is upset about his lack of a baby book. This was for many reasons such as him being born around the time of 9/11. Maybe it is because he is the youngest of all the kids. Something is done, but they go to commercial (of course), before we know the official outcome of the vote.

In segment five, Conrad and Russell talk to each other and an intervention occurs. They have voted to enact the 25th Amendment. This makes Conrad more upset, needless to say. They seem to be doing a sort of political blackmail in order to get him not to do the strike. But he seems to comply so that people won’t know of the issues with him. Jason sees his parents finally doing his baby book.

There a problem with Conrad’s brain, according to his doctor. I didn’t fully understand all of it. Was it a tumor of some sort? But within a week, he is able to regain his normal mental prowess. He makes a statement to the people of the country about what is going on. This could have an interesting story arc for a while. Or they could skip right past it. Now this makes me hope there is a mental problem with Trump and that fixing his brain could turn him into a nice person. There are not scenes from next time so I guess that I’ll be back whenever with the next new episode. Don’t be surprised if new posts wind up on Tuesday permanently. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
